DETOXologie Terms and Conditions

Fees are payable at the time of consultation and can be made by cash, credit card or EFTPOS. We do provide an invoice at time of payment. If you require medical fund receipts, please advise. DETOXologie is not responsible for which medical fund you belong to and what rebate you are entitled to. That is between the private fund’s discretion.
The treatment schedule recommended by your health professional is designed to give you the best possible results. Missed or rescheduled appointments may undermine the efficiency of your treatment. If your treating practitioner is ever ill or not available for any reason, we will always endeavour to have a colleague available to treat you.
All DETOXologie practioners have your patient file available to them in such circumstances to help ensure you continue to achieve the best possible outcomes. If we are unable to have a colleague available, we will call you prior your arrival at DETOXologie to reschedule your appointment for another convenient time. A centre credit can be organised if we are unable to organise another time available. The credit will be to the value of the treatment in which you pay for. If it was a voucher payment, it will at the value of what was paid at time of purchase.
Despite our best intentions, we sometimes run late! This is usually because someone has required extended attention. Be assured that when your turn comes we will not rush to catch up, but will give you the time you need. Please feel free to ring us prior to your appointment to find out if we are running behind. In the eventuality that we are running well over time, we will contact you prior to your appointment.
Cancellation, Voucher purchase, Discount Offers and No Show Policy
Should you need to cancel or reschedule, we require a minimum of 24 ‘business hours’ notice prior to your appointment to allow us to offer your time to another patient. Colon Hydrotherapy cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
Should you cancel or reschedule an appointment without the required notice, you will incur a charge of 100% of the consultation fee. A no-show for an appointment will incur a 100% charge. All unpaid accounts are charged an additional $15.00 + GST per month administration fee until the account is paid. Pre-payments cannot be altered or changed as they are purchased as set packages. Please note that pre-payments expire in 90 days from the purchase date. If you decide to cancel the package due to your preferred therapist being unable to see you due to misfortune, DETOXologie will transfer the amount paid towards another therapist or a centre credit only to the amount paid. No monetary refunds are made unless payment is made for full price services, not for reduced items or services if we are unable to secure an appointment for you.
Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you change your mind or make a wrong decision, due to our products being under the strict OH&S policy. Therapeutic goods and cosmetics fall under this banner. We can offer an exchange or credit when goods are faulty or wrongly described. We will not refund on remedies or therapeutic goods prescribed especially or cosmetics without a seal. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to pay once the product has been made for your specific requirements. You must be sure to ask for the price of any made remedies, as once made especially for you, you are responsible for full payment.
Customer Service Policy
DETOXologie Pty Ltd is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. Prices may be updated at any time, DETOXologie cannot be responsible if the prices increase without any notice. Standard delivery time frames are between 3-10 business days; in the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund.
DETOXologie is committed to providing the highest level of security possible. Your patient file is created in a secured database from information gathered from DETOXologie owned forms submitted by you either at our centre or via a secured form on our website. Your patient record (medical history) is created by your treating DETOXologie practitioner at your first appointment and must be accurately maintained following each visit to DETOXologie. Access to your patient file is via an audited two step login process with regular password changes at both levels.
DETOXologie practitioners do not have access to any patient’s contact information including street addresses, email addresses and phone numbers and are bound by agreement with DETOXologie not to solicit this information directly from patients. All contact with patients, outside of appointments, is co-ordinated via reception, adding an additional layer of security to your patient file.
All DETOXologie practitioners are bound by enforceable, restrictive covenants while working at DETOXologie and for 12 months following termination of their agreements with DETOXologie, unless they have otherwise agreed on a variation with the owners of DETOXologie. These covenants include DETOXologie practitioners not practising within a 2km radius of DETOXologie and not to solicit or persuade any patient who has obtained medical or health services at DETOXologie to cease obtaining these services at DETOXologie.
When purchasing from DETOXologie, your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.128-bit SSL encryption is the current industry standard. Whenever you use our web site, or any other web site, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your Internet browser. The unique network address of your computer is your “IP address,” and is sent automatically each time you access any Internet site. From a computer’s IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer, but otherwise it is anonymous.
We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes. An example of this would be when proceeding to a checkout to finalise an order you wish to make. After completing the form provided, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows us to track your order.
Change of Address
Please advise reception of any change of address, contact numbers or email addresses or complete our Patient Data Change form (detoxologie.com.au/patient-data-change) or log into your account on line and update your information.
Shipping and Delivery Policy
We deliver products Australia wide using [Australia Post]. Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location. Exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the total before checkout. We endeavour to dispatch orders within 2 business days and shipping times are estimated at between 3-7 business days depending on your location within Australia.
